What is ABA Therapy?

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapy is based on the science of learning and behavior. It can be used to help children with autism build important sets of skills across many domains.

As children develop, they build a foundation of skills such as: fine and gross motor skills; language and communication; self-help; and social skills. Unfortunately, autism creates many challenges for children as they develop these skills. Because of these challenges, many children benefit from early intervention through ABA therapy.

How is ABA applied in Autism Therapy?

Our therapy program is designed to assess each child’s needs. We work alongside each parent and build a personalized plan to help their child learn the skills that they need. A continuous reassessment schedule and frequent all staff meetings with parents help ensure that the plan addresses each child’s individual needs at any stage in their lives.

The curriculum in our program combines decades of research and years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Click on the links below for more information on some of the key elements of our ABA therapy program.
