Passionate About
At Early Autism Services, we’re passionate about the potential that is within your child. Since our founding in 2008, we’ve believed the best way to help develop that potential is through a proactive, personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy program that enables families to work hand in hand with a team of licensed professionals. We offer high-quality ABA therapy in Boise and throughout the United States, Australia, and India.
Our team is made of hundreds of experienced Behavior Therapists, Board Certified Behaviors Analysts, and caring individuals who are committed to helping children with autism, and their families.
What Is ABA Therapy?
ABA therapy is a flexible therapy that applies the science of learning and behavior to create lasting positive behaviors. Our ABA therapy in Idaho focuses on helping children improve communication, social skills and focus.
One of the main features of our ABA therapy program is positive reinforcement. First, your child’s behavior therapist will identify a behavioral goal, such as clearly communicating a need. Each time this positive behavior occurs, your child will receive a reward in the form of praise, a toy or more playtime. Positive rewards encourage your child to continue performing this behavior which, over time, creates a meaningful behavior change.
Another feature of our autism ABA therapy in Idaho is an understanding of antecedents and consequences. An antecedent is the event that happens before a target behavior and may result from the environment or another person. A consequence is what happens after a behavior occurs, and it can be positive reinforcement or no reaction at all. By examining antecedents and consequences, your child’s behavior therapist can understand how different consequences affect the likelihood of your child repeating positive behaviors.

Benefits of In-Home ABA Therapy
Our in-home ABA therapy for the Boise area has many benefits for your child, such as convenience and time savings. Additional advantages of this service include:
- Familiar environment: If your child is starting therapy for the first time or is new to our services at EAS, they will need an adjustment period. Starting their therapy services in a familiar environment can reduce their adjustment period and allow them to be more comfortable with their behavior therapist from the beginning.
- Reduced transitions: Taking your child from your home to our facility includes many transitions in a short period. With our in-home ABA therapy, there will be no transitions, providing your child’s behavior therapist more time to focus on skills.
- Family involvement: During your in-home session, parents, caregivers, siblings and other relatives can observe or participate. In-home therapy allows the family to be more involved in the process and learn how to continue helping their child work toward their goals outside of therapy.
